Well, here it is.
This is the first, ever, illustration of the runaway train this project has become.
It was done with no real motive in mind, other than enjoying the simple pleasure of drawing the unforgettable mug that was Abe 'Kid Twist' Reles, whom at the time, I didn't know much about other than when I gazed at his simian-like features, I was stopped in my tracks. If I only knew then, where it would all lead to....
Dating back almost six years, almost three years before the project hit the current momentum, I was somewhat a little hesitant in posting this image. When I look at it now, my inner critical eye has many issues to raise, but, that's something I can wrestle with on my own and see no need to involve you with minor mundane details.
I posted some initial sketchbook drawings awhile back and thought it would be fun to include this one as well just to show the genesis of this entire affair and see how the work has evolved.....
